Assignment
In the year 2000 MTG won the tender to build and operate an IPSec test lab for the European automotive network ENX (European Network eXchange).
The ENX association was seeking an independent testing facility to ensure the interoperability of IPSec devices deployed in the ENX. In addition to determining the security level in the ENX, the security partners should also perform interoperability tests and take over certifications on behalf of the ENX association.
Solution
In addition to the consulting of the ENX organization with regard to safety-related issues, MTG developed specifications for the IPSec interoperability tests and also executes them.
