Assignment
Enhancement of the intelligent heating control by lighting controls and security functions. The platform should be modular so that the customer can individually put together his applications. Smart Meter customers will additionally have their energy consumption data displayed on this platform.
Solution
The appropriate adjustments were made based on the MTG energy management platform. The focus was put especially on user-friendliness and ease of operation. The platform operates with at least two protocols as different hardware is being used. The underlaying MTG-Internet gateway requires very little power due to the special mtG software platform technology. The level of security meets the highest demands as it has an own PKI (see MTG CARA) underlaying the system. This type of communication is also required for the new Smart Meter Gateway according to the technical guideline of the Federal Agency for Security in Information Technology (BSI) TR-03109.
