DevOps Team Leader (f/m/d)

For our location in Darmstadt, we are expanding our team with an experienced DevOps Team Leader to lead and mentor our DevOps Team.
Your tasks
- Lead our DevOps team in creating and maintaining our CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery) pipelines, driving our cloud adoption while being responsible for large-scale on-premises installations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and ensure team members are motivated and productive.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable software delivery.
- Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scans into the CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure using cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and release processes.
- Lead incident response efforts, troubleshoot complex problems and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in DevOps.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance efficiency.
Your profile
- Proven experience in a DevOps leadership role, managing a team of engineers.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure management.
- Fluency in German & English.
- Permission to work in Germany
